In Bairo Canavese, near Turin the Cesaraccio family decided to create a really modern and functional equestrian centre for show jumping. Mr. Marco Cesaraccio decided to give his daughter Giulia a dream come true.
Horsewalkers are becoming increasingly popular in large and small stables. This is not surprising as they offer horses the chance to exercise and spend time in the paddock as well as providing additional training options. The cleverly designed systems of Röwer & Rüb have proven their worth for decades and meet very high safety standards.
“Oh, I would love to have a horsewalker like that!” is something that we often hear from our customers, “but we just don’t have any space for it.”
Sometimes you just need a little experience and imagination to find the perfect solution. The best example of this is the Teomatic horsewalker that has just been built in Sprockhövel.
Located near Guildford, 21 Hamburg horse stalls split into two wings were built in keeping with the exclusive equipment of the recently completed facility.
The powder-coated frames are fitted with stainless steel multins. The windows, barn doors and doors were powder-coated in the same colour.
Washdown areas, tack rooms and solariums – everything needed, in fact, to allow the owner and family to pursue a passion for dressage.
This time, our travels took us near the French capital, Paris. There, we worked with our dealers on site (Environnement Equestre) to bring an antique stable facility up to date.
Our client looked at various fittings, doors and boxes for the traditional building before choosing the models that retained the character of the structure while also fulfilling the needs placed on a modern stud farm.
It is now possible to use the entire area of an oval horsewalker in all weathers with the new Röwer & Rüb roof construction. Optimum use of the space of oval horsewalkers is demonstrated by this example installed for a successful warmblood breeder in Austria. Röwer & Rüb built the first oval horsewalker with a full roof measuring 15 x 25 metres near Vienna. The interior area of 10 x 20 metres is used as an all-weather paddock. As the interior area is not exposed to the weather due to the full roof, it is also ideal for use as a paddock or storage room.
This time we were off to Sylt just a few hundred kilometres away; a client had commissioned a new equestrian yard. And as this is as “north German” as can be, our Bremen model was chosen for the new stables. A total of ten horse stalls are housed in this contemporary building constructed from wooden beams and precast concrete. The stalls are also equipped with an external stall door.
