A new barn is currently being built in Southern Germany which has been designed and planned together with our customer. The focus has clearly been placed on individuality, harmony and functionality. Our newly designed building consists of a hot-dip galvanised steel structure and has far higher eaves, providing space for an intermediate ceiling. The upper area is used to store roughage. The intermediate ceiling has 2 trap openings to make it easy to bring the feed down to the feeding alley. The pen area has been fitted with feeding grates and swivelling partitions.
Together with the self-supporting building structures as steel or laminated truss constructions, we have developed a new supported load-bearing structure. This is characterised by the additional support elements underneath the roof trusses on the level of the stall front walls, that blend in perfectly with the appearance of the stable passageway.
Shortly before Christmas, Röwer & Rüb received a signed order for the production of 5 stable complexes for 110 horses and they are already ready. The whole order was completed and assembled within only 6 weeks. Even though the company is very efficient and already has a fair amount of experience in the Arab region, this order was something special. Not only because of the lack of time. Marco Kray, the Managing Director of Röwer&Rüb Export: ""Our people in production were super. Actually, our Christmas holidays would normally have lasted until the middle of January.
We would like to congratulate the Holkenbrink stud farm centre on the newly opened EU insemination centre. After the initial talks in the autumn of 2008, the Holkenbrink family opted for the good quality products of the company Röwer& Rüb. After a long winter, the 17 stud stalls and the windows, gates and inspection stands could be brought into use at the end of April, just in time for the opening celebrations.
We would like to wish the whole of the Holkenbrink team much success with the new facility.
The positive features of bamboo boards - able to retain their shape, resistant to kicking and biting, and environmentally friendly - are enough to convince many horse carers and breeders. Up until now, only hardwood has possessed the property of being resistant to kicking and biting and has guaranteed the safety of people and animals. However, only bamboo can guarantee the stability of the boards and protect our environment. The fast growing bamboo plant provides plentiful resources and prevents the deforestation of the rain forests.
