It is now possible to use the entire area of an oval horsewalker in all weathers with the new Röwer & Rüb roof construction. Optimum use of the space of oval horsewalkers is demonstrated by this example installed for a successful warmblood breeder in Austria. Röwer & Rüb built the first oval horsewalker with a full roof measuring 15 x 25 metres near Vienna. The interior area of 10 x 20 metres is used as an all-weather paddock. As the interior area is not exposed to the weather due to the full roof, it is also ideal for use as a paddock or storage room.
This time we were off to Sylt just a few hundred kilometres away; a client had commissioned a new equestrian yard. And as this is as “north German” as can be, our Bremen model was chosen for the new stables. A total of ten horse stalls are housed in this contemporary building constructed from wooden beams and precast concrete. The stalls are also equipped with an external stall door.
The operators of the exclusive Daemyung Resort close to the South Korean capital Seoul have completed the construction of a professional equestrian sports facility. Rüwer & Rüb oversaw the planning and execution of the comprehensive project on the ground in conjunction with a local team.
Two outdoor arenas, two indoor arenas, stable blocks as well as an administrative block connected directly to the indoor arena are now ready for use by club members and visitors of the specially created Sono Felice Equestrian Club.
Marco Botti´s Prestige Place is the first new build yard to be constructed in Newmarket for over 10 years and every aspect has been designed to create optimal conditions for top-performing horses.
The 21st Century Horse partnership worked with Marco to specify 40 'Verden' stable fronts and 57 loose box doors from Röwer & Rüb's comprehensive range of designs, to bring plenty of light and ventilation into the accommodation.
Röwer & Rüb equips the stable expansion of a prestigious competition and sales stable at the Teutoburg Forest. The powder-coated front walls model Hanover with galvanized bars and a wood infill with 2 boards and wooden cross are giving the new stable passageway an exclusive design.
Doors and windows add to the overall picture.
Röwer & Rüb is particularly delighted of being able to carry out a special project for a longstanding customer of many years. We will assemble 80 tons of timber and steel in the Arab world to create the largest horsewalker in the world.
Not only are the local conditions very specific – the dimensions of the oval horsewalker are larger than anything the global horsewalker industry has ever seen: 40 horses can be trained at the same time in the 75m x 150m horsewalker – each lap is approximately 450 metres.
Röwer & Rüb upgrades the “new old” walls of a stable in Italy
Working together with our Italian distribution partner Giovanni Listorti, we have brought a stables building located to the South of the Italian City of Milan to the very latest level of technology. Two particular specialities were the particular focus of our work there: the coating of the stable grating and how the windows would be opened.
Private Arabian stud individually designed
We have again been given the chance to undertake a project together with 21st century Horse in England. This time we were commissioned by our new customer to equip his entire stable. To get an initial idea of what was expected of us we flew "over" and met our customer.
It was our job to fulfil the customer's personal wish for exclusivity and individuality for his Arabian stud. In collaboration with 21st century Horse we planned the stable from the first cut of the spade to the last door hinge.
